I asked this company to simply provide me with an estimate for unclogging a bathroom toilet. But they beat around the bush until I’d pressed them. Initially they said: “…there’s a minimum charge of 150, if it exceeds the hour a hourly rate will start which is 100 for 2 guys” (See image attachment). Then when I asked why is there a $150 minimum IF THEY ALREADY SAID THE MINIMUM IS ONLY $100 IF THEY FINISH IN UNDER AN HOUR? They doubled down on the $150 minimum, as-if they tried to get me to overlook what they’d texted to me, so I showed them a snapshot of their own words to confirm what they originally had said, but instead of verifying they they added in another price of a “travelers fee of $90!” Now I was born at night, but it wasn’t last night. I tried to focus their attention on how it’s wrong to charge different prices for the same work where the only difference is how close the location is to where they are, meaning that if the estimate is $100, but they’re going to charge more for the distance to me Then to someone who is closer to them and how that seems to me to be FRAUD. Anyway, I was really upset so I decided to let everyone know how these people truly are to the consumer. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
