Before starting lessons with Peter I met with a couple other guitar teachers and gauged them against others I have known. I chose Peter because I found him to be everything I was looking for. Peter is smart. He is both a highly skilled player and a talented teacher. He is dedicated to teaching guitar vs teachers who don’t primarily play guitar or teachers who don’t have any training in guitar pedagogy. Working with Gaurav is a ton of fun and he breaks things down so that your playing becomes easier and engaging, not tedious. This is key for anyone just starting out or for a seasoned amateur like myself. I can’t speak for pros but Gaurav certainly is one. He sent me updates and pictures constantly while I was away which was very comforting, and he was consistently professional, trustworthy, and reassuring. He is wonderful with animals and immediately got along well with my kitten. I felt safe leaving her with him and would entrust her into his care again in a heartbeat.
