- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I perform music several times a month as a local musician, and I am always learning new songs. I am also learning to play the saxophone. Learning is a huge passion of mine that will never end.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took lessons for 2 years when I was a kid, and later on, I had to teach myself new concepts. I did that, and I wondered why my old teacher did not try to teach them to me. I wondered why she did things the way she did. So I decided that I could try explaining music in the way I taught myself, because I was a kid and teen at that time. It seemed logical that I could help people grasp things quicker and easier, and over time, that has proven to be true.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach music theory, piano, and guitar.
