My husband and I are renovating a 30 year old house and needed to knock down some walls in the living room for a more modern, open space. We found Ray and from the beginning he was very professional and answered all our questions. He completed the job very quickly and made it seem easy, even though we know it requires a lot of skill. What I also liked is how personable and trustworthy he was, he was great to work with and I felt comfortable that he wasn't just trying to get our money and run. we ended up needing electrical work done as part of the project he was also able to do that same day. His pricing was great for the quality of work we received and the house looks amazing! I would highly recommend Ray to anyone looking for any type of contractor for work around the house and we will definitely be using him again in the future!

My husband and I hired Ray to construct a new fence at our house after our old one became dilapidated and beyond repair. In a few short days Ray and his crew constructed a beautiful new fence that I feel is now the best on the block. The sheer craftsmanship that went into this thing was incredibly impressive, and it was actually surprising how fast the job got done considering how much detail went into it. He made sure to screw in the pieces one by one, instead of nailing, to ensure everything will stay together for year longer. My husband and I feel it's a high quality fence that should increase the value of our house much more than the price we paid for the job. I have used Ray on multiple occasions and I am always very pleased with his work and recommend him highly. He is professional, always on time, he will not rush through your project but rather will pay attention to all the small details, and his prices are very reasonable for the quality of work you will receive. I contracted with Ray to have my fence replaced. Ray and his crew did an excellent job tearing down and removing the old fence (despite having to battle with a huge poison ivy plant that was behind my back fence and an outstanding job building the new fence. Ray has also done remodeling work on the interior of my house (new toilets, light fixtures, baseboard, flooring, tile work and paint). Obviously i have hired him several times and each time I am impressed with the quality of his work. I can recommend Ray without any reservations or hesitation to anyone.

Meet with them and explain what will be done. Being very transparent has made job smoother and more sucessful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a 4 year apprenticeship program with the Carpenters Union in New York several years back. This guided me to do what I enjoy. I enjoy reading and treating jobs as they are being done at my own house. I want it done correctly at my house so I use common sense to provide that to others,
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always worked well with my hands. Doing work on my own home, my rentals, for family and friends and helping others with solving their problems to create something close or beyond what they were expecting.
