Leonard, manager of Emerald Kutt, removed the grass in a problematic section of my property, graded the soil for drainage, and designed and installed a beautiful rock garden. Although it was a difficult job, Leonard and one of his professional employees, Diego, did an excellent job. Leonard is very pleasant, kind, knowledgeable, detailed, and professional. I am a gardener, extremely perfectionist with high standards. I will definitely hire him in the future for other projects. My experience with Emerald Kutt, although it didn’t progress to a formal hiring stage, was less than satisfactory and warrants caution for potential clients. While Leonard initially appeared professional and accommodating, the process became increasingly challenging as we discussed the project in more detail. The key issue was the constant change in terms and conditions that we initially agreed upon. This lack of consistency not only caused confusion but also delayed the project discussions significantly - by about three weeks. Another major concern was Leonard’s insistence on advance payment for work that had not been started. While I was open to paying for materials upfront, the demand for payment for uncompleted work raised a red flag for me. This practice is often associated with contractors who may not deliver the promised service after receiving payment. Although I did not end up hiring Leonard due to these concerns, my experience was telling. I cannot definitively judge Leonard’s work quality or ethics, but the pre-hiring process was enough to deter me from proceeding. I would advise potential clients of Emerald Kutt to proceed with caution, ensuring clear and consistent terms from the start and being wary of any demands for advance payment for services not yet rendered. Thanks Sarah. It's our policy, it always has been. We Never had any issues with our hundreds of clients throughout the years. We understand we are not a good fit for everyone, and thats ok. We never started because we never recieved a down Payment.

We email a proposal. Upon agreement within the proposal, we instantly start the project and at satisfactory completion of project we ask for balance.9
