The repair was not made because the part that I needed was on backorder for several months. Also, the repairman shared that the part would be almost as much as a new appliance with the cost of labor. I appreciated his honesty!

I must say that I was prepared to have to purchase a new refrigerator, then I found FixPro on Thumbtack through the TimeSquare app. They were extremely quick in responding to my inquiry and very reasonably priced for the repair I needed, which was a compressor for my refrigerator. The technician came out and determined that the evaporator coil also needed replaced. They came back the same day and, a few hours later, my refrigerator was fixed. I requested and received a contact call within a minute of hitting submit. They scheduled the technician for the same day (late evening on a Saturday). He arrived quickly, repaired my very old model Frigidaire range, and was fairly priced. And all of this took a little over an hour from submitting my request to paying the bill. The lower burner on the Kenmore oven no longer worked. I ordered a replacement from partselect.com. I also ordered the upper burner to ensure both new burners would work. The repair tech was able to replace the burners and the oven works fine. I would recommend FixPro to others and would consider using them again for any other future appliance issues.
