Jay presented an estimate that did not disclose an extra 3.5% charge if you paid by credit card. However, I approved and he fixed my washing machine. He tried to demand payment before my tenant could run a completed wash cycle with clothes in it to confirm the washing machine was fixed. When I politely told him I wanted the washer to complete a cycle with clothes, he was extremely rude and told me that’s not how it works. I’m not sure why this guy thinks his customer service is good. It is not.
He just lost me as a potential future customer for several other properties because he obviously does not know good business/customer service. He added 3.5% charge for a credit card payment which was not mentioned on the estimate. Beware as many companies want you to pay via zelle or payment app so they can avoid paying taxes to the IRS.
He wanted me to confirm that I sent the payment because he couldn’t verify it from the payment link/system he sent me. He thinks it’s the customer’s responsibility to confirm that they have already paid. That’s Jay’s problem if his payment system doesn’t work the way he needs.
