About
Local AR is a Houston drafting and design studio for home renovations and outdoor living. We create detailed design drawings for additions, ADUs, kitchen and bath remodels, garage conversions, and outdoor projects like pools, summer kitchens, and fire pits. You get high-quality 3D renders early, so you see the result before construction starts.
Led by an architectural designer with a background in architecture and space architecture and real experience coordinating renovations, we produce clear, buildable drawings for your permit submittal and construction. For projects that require a licensed architect's or engineer's seal, we coordinate the stamped work with a licensed professional. We work with homeowners, remodelers, and designers across the Houston area, in English and Spanish.
Message us and we'll tell you exactly what drawings your project needs and give you a fixed quote before any work begins.

We had a wonderful experience working with Leo and the Local AR team on the plans for our kitchen renovation. From the very beginning, they were easy to work with, listened carefully to our ideas, and created a design that truly reflected what we wanted.Their creativity and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful kitchen plan that exceeded our expectations. They made the entire design process enjoyable and stress free, and we always felt like our input was valued. We are excited to bring our new kitchen to life!

I needed help with my company's logo, and after a conversation, we decided to go for it. It was a really great process. From the beginning, I explained my ideas, the meaning behind the logo, and the company's identity and goals. From there, he came up with multiple logo options that captured all my ideas and suggestions, and after we went back and forth on changes to the different logo perspectives, I chose the attached picture. He then took the logo and gave me multiple variations for use in presentations, website printouts, and clothing or other physical marketing materials. He even provided multiple file formats for each use case so the logo would maintain the highest quality. I absolutely recommend working with Leo on your design ideas, whether it is for architecture or other work like my logo.
