ResDraft provides Residential Drafting & Design for homeowners in the Houston area. We prepare residential plans for custom single-family homes, additions, second stories, accessory dwelling units, and complete remodels. Founded in 2018, our team brings more than 20 years of drafting and design experience to clear, coordinated residential drawing packages.
We work directly with you from project scope and preliminary floor plans and elevations through design refinements and the agreed permit drawing package. Our team uses AutoCAD and Revit, with virtual design reviews and field measurement or survey coordination when needed. We review applicable residential codes and jurisdiction requirements for your project.
Licensed structural engineering and other licensed professional services can be coordinated separately through independent licensed professionals when required and are quoted separately. Permit approval is determined by the local authority. Our portfolio shows real ResDraft work and representative residential scopes; examples are not presented as projects completed in this market unless their location is verified.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on project square footage, with a minimum fee. We review the scope and provide a project quote. Licensed structural engineering, surveying, and other licensed professional services, when required, are coordinated separately and quoted separately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a consultation about your home, goals, scope, and timing. We review existing plans, field measurement, and survey needs, then develop preliminary floor plans and elevations for your review. Preliminary designs typically take 12–15 business days after payment; your project schedule is confirmed during scope review. We refine the design through virtual reviews and prepare the agreed permit drawing package. The owner, builder, or local professional submits where applicable, and the local authority determines approval.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has design and drafting training, including Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and standard drafting practices. We apply the residential code and jurisdiction requirements appropriate to the project.
