Jacob Pahima from Houston Builders Inc. stood out right away as he was confident, easy to talk to, and clearly experienced in the field. Once construction started, Yosef Gabay took over managing the project and did a great job. He stayed organized, kept everyone on track, and handled issues as they came up. The schedule was tight, especially with most of the work happening during the last two weeks of December. However, he managed it well and kept things moving. He was always ready to answer our questions whenever we had them. From demolition to electrical work, plumbing to painting, carpentry to countertop installation, everything was well organized. We worked with several different crews, and they were all solid. Sebastian and Marvin handled demolition and were careful about protecting the house and keeping dust under control. Ricardo did the carpentry and was always responsive to our concerns and easy to work with. The painting crew—Olman, Elian, and Chris—did a great job matching our custom wall and cabinet paint, which we really appreciated. Jonathan, who handled the countertops, was an artist. His work was top-notch, and you could tell he genuinely cared about the details. He was professional, positive, and a pleasure to work with. We chose Taj Mahal quartzite for the countertops and honestly didn’t know exactly how it would turn out, but the final result ended up being even better than we expected. Daniel handled the plumbing under a lot of pressure and made sure our kitchen was up and running before the holidays, and Juan did great work on the electrical, including the under-cabinet lighting. Cleanup was quick and efficient - Luis and Jesus had everything hauled away in just a few hours. Houston Builders Inc. was absolutely the right choice for us. The quality of the work, the people they brought in, and how smoothly everything was handled made a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend Francis with One Attic Insulation. I contacted him for an estimate for attic insulation and two days later he came for a free on-site inspection. He looked in the attic, took pictures (which he provided me), gave me an estimate, answered my questions and said he could schedule the work for the following week. The next day I accepted his offer that was very reasonable and we scheduled the installation for the day he had offered. I look forward to working with him and his crew. Update: Again, I highly recommend One Attic Insulation! Yesterday Francis and his assistant did a wonderful job cleaning out the debris in my attic, spraying for mold and pests, fixing a hole in the wood, sealing small gaps between the attic and the house, sealing gaps in the air conditioning ducts and blowing in 12-14” inches of fiberglass insulation in my attic. Francis also showed me the “after” pictures and video and all of the debris they had removed from my attic. They did a fabulous job cleaning up, all within about 2 and a half hours. They are terrific to work with, their price was absolutely wonderful, they were on-time and extremely professional.
