The lighting was difficult, as it was held indoors in a gym, but he and his colleague managed to put together a nice portfolio of photos for us to remember the event by. We hired Kailye to be our photographer for a friend's birthday party. Right from the start, I could tell that she was going to be great due to her communication and professionalism. We first scheduled a call at a date and time that worked for both of us. We went over the details of our expectations and she laid out hers. Once everything was understood, she sent over a DocuSign agreement followed by a deposit invoice. We were able to pay by credit card online, which was so convenient. On the day of the event, she showed up when she said she would and was engaging with the birthday girl and the guests. She even helped stall the birthday girl, per our request, so that we could wait for a few more guests to arrive prior to her entrance. 3 days later, she emailed a link with the edited photos for us to download. They turned out great! I highly recommend Kailye to anyone looking for a photographer. You never know what kind of person you'll get through one of these apps, but I'm so happy to have gotten connected with Kailye. I will definitely utilize her service in the future.

Gina was a pleasure to work with overall and most of the pictures turned out nicely. Also she was available at short notice. Pictures were ready in a timely fashion and are good quality pictures. The only things I did not like were 1. She did not fully capture the venue in the photos. The green room at the grove in Houston is a beautiful dining room with a gorgeous view of discovery green (especially that evening because the Bruce Munro light display was there) but that was either overlooked or the shots were just missed. 2. Since it was a surprise birthday dinner party, she only took pictures for 1 hour (because after that we were just sitting down and eating so taking pics would be awkward. but because of that we also didn't get any pics of him blowing out the cake after dinner) but wasn't willing to adjust the pricing to reflect the work performed. So I paid for 2 hours of work when it was only 1 hours worth of pictures. Plus, there were some pictures with peoples eyes closed that should have been caught by checking the camera after taking the pic so it could be retaken.
