FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Painting to further and broaden my skills to more than just painting and animation, but to sculpting and welding as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to Disney World with my family as a child and that's when I decided working for Disney was my dream job. I taught myself how to draw by copying cartoon characters; I never took a formal drawing class until College. I've achieved my BFA in Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Houston. While studying at the Art Institute of Houston, a lot of time and effort was put forth for modeling and animation. A few months after graduation, I found a love in digital painting and started honing in my skills. I then started experimenting with more traditional work such as Acrylic and Oil painting, where I truly found my calling. I have been working in Acrylics since and haven't looked back!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs are creating commissioned paintings for various clients. My second most common type of job is t-shirt design and logo designs.
