He was late. He was filthy.Yhe equipment was filthy. He was supposed to start at 2. His machine broke. He had to leave to have it repaired because he didn’t know how to repair it. He left to take care of that.He eventually started at 5:30. He finally completed job around 6:30. He left no receipt and a big mess of filthy water on my entry floor. I didn’t bother saying anything I cleaned it myself. The carpets upstairs were cleaned fairly well. I hate leaving a bad review but this was not a good experience. This review is strictly not for the service he provided with carpet cleaning, but for the guy who came in for doing carpet repair recommended by him Mr John. Please don't use him for any repairs. He charged us double the money to fix the repairs and I feel like they are doing this with all the home owners. I just don't want another client to get Mr. John to do any work and feel for the trap. How do you give me a bad review on somebody I referred to you when : A. You liked the work B. You sent me a text saying that you liked the work C. John let you know his prices UPFRONT, so there would be no confusion D. You were trying to compare John's prices to another handyman's prices. I think it's shameful that you would post this in spite of your approval of the work. If you did not want to pay the price for the service, you shouldn't have agreed to it. Don't love the work and then trash it on Thumbtack because you did not love the price. John has helped a lot of my clients out, and has awesome reviews on his Thumbtack page.
