FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is tricky, because there are those in the industry só called "AC Techs" but that in reality knows almost next to nothing, and are working, damaging people's property and investments, and they will tell you that they can do the job for a very low price. Later you realize that in trying to pay the least you end up having to replace the $8,000 dollars system. And then there are the "con artist techs", this type will try to trick you into investing into a whole new system, the con artist tech doesn't even know what an air conditioning is, he will get you to spend all that money and in the end he will refer you to a company that specialize in Installation and he will end up making a few hundred bucks for the referral, but you just spent $8,000 to $12,000 dollars of your hard earned money in a new system that you didn't need. I could go on and on with different types of charlatans, they proliferate in the Cooling and Heating industry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, I try to get to know anything related to that AC/HEATING system before I start going to that customer's house by asking what type of AC/HEATING system he/she has. If the AC is split or package unit, if the system is AC or Heat Pump; if the heater is by gas or electric resistence, additionally I ask what they think is wrong with the system. Once I get to the customer's residence I fallow a pre determined method that I've developed throughout the years to diagnostic and find the problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended AC and HEATING training school, and numerous continuous training related to the industry as time went by.
