Welcome! This was made for those who wish to separate themselves from American Bachata and Choreography and work on the core of footwork and get into Traditional Dominican Bachata. If you lack help with turns or self defense, If you are a beginner and want to learn the fundamentals of defensive Bachata, If you are tire of dancing with the pros on the dance floor and want to hold your own on the dance floor with anyone you dance with or you want to be ready for your next trip to the Dominican Republic. Here you will learn to defend yourself you will learn step by step footwork to land those steps with the music, follow the music, jump on the other person's steps, if you get lost get back in the game and eventually learn how to freestyle against your opponents meaning creativity with your footwork will enhance and you will learn how to create your own moves naturally. You will naturally dance around the dance floor freely without though without having to try and anticipate your moves not count your steps. We are bring back traditional Freestyle Bachata strait from the Capital Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where  partners battle partners and couples battle couples without choreography, all natural. Each month the most improved student earns a prize during the freestyle battle event. This is also a fun place you will never be laughed at and you will never be judged EVERYONE is welcomed. We also provide Merengue dance lessons.
