FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The best way to determine a price for refinishing a piece is by looking at it and inspecting it. I can however, give a first estimate from a picture and dimensions. This is of course subject to inspection to determine if there are parts that need replacing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Woodworkers Club of Houston where there are monthly meetings and discuss problems that we may be having with a current project. There are also speaker's that give us a program on some specific area of woodworking. The club also has several sub-groups that meet on specific areas of woodworking and tools.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to do something in my retirement that I enjoyed doing. I had enjoyed working with wood since my shop class in junior high school, and finally got back into it about 30 years ago.
