FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always upfront, with no hidden fees. I provide a clear estimate before any work begins, and I only recommend what you actually need. Service calls and emergency visits may have different rates, but I explain those ahead of time. I also offer discounts for seniors, military, and multi-door projects, and I stand behind
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with a quick conversation to understand the issue or the type of upgrade the customer is looking for. From there, I schedule an on-site inspection so I can assess the door, opener, and overall setup. Once I identify the problem, I walk the customer through their options and provide upfront pricing. If they’re ready to move forward, I complete the repair or installation, test everything for safety and smooth operation, and make sure they understand how to use and maintain their system. I always follow up afterward to ensure everything is working perfectly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed formal training in garage door installation and repair, including certification in opener systems, spring balancing, and safety standards. I also apprenticed under experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience with both residential and commercial doors. Since then, I’ve continued taking manufacturer training courses to stay up-to-date on the latest door technology and smart-opener systems.
