FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try not to complicate anything. Some of the best experiences in life are simple. For small residential projects we require 50% of the cost to start and the remaining 50% after we are finished. For high end projects we typically ask for 80% down to start and the remaining 20% after we are finished.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly searching for the latest and greatest in all areas of the garage. We do online searches to keep up with product improvements or what will be coming out. We even seek out nontraditional solutions for our garage solutions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My business partner and I use to own a small business that provided aftermarket products and custom services for car enthusiasts. We would routinely go to our clients residence and pick up the cars for them from their garages or storage areas. After adding the aftermarket products (like custom wheels, etc...) we would return the cars and the stock parts to their garage. Clients would tell us to stack the stock parts in the corner or on the floor of the garage in an unorganized manor so we would tell them that there was a tire storage rack they could install on the wall for their stock wheels. Clients would ask us to show it to them so we would; then they would ask us to order it, so we would, then they would ask us to install it. We would often find ourselves customizing and organizing their garages as well as their cars and after doing this a few times we thought that there may be a viable market for this type of service. So we did some market research, educated ourselves on garage products and services and launched the business.
