We needed the interior of our house painted after getting tired of white. Bill spoke with Osman regarding repairing all the nail holes and repairing the trim caused by dogs.If he didn't plan to repairs- why were most of the done? Bill and I chose colors and Osman ever gave us his opinion on the colors. They started in the kitchen with the paint we chose. When Bill got home he noticed the paint was flat. Osman chose the flat paint without asking what finish we wanted. They did not go through looking for imperfection- just painting over it. It was agreed that Osman would paint it over with semi-gloss if we would purchase the additional paint. Osman was there part of the time , helping with the painting. Then he would leave, leaving the other guy who could hardly understand English. He was alone - continuing to paint - when problems occurred- it was hard to stop the helper even after sternly telling him NO - he told me in broken English- he would move wood holder still on the wall AFTER he was done with the wall. Another time he came in to paint with the wrong color- I had to take him to the garage and show him which color paint to use. When the helper alone , I noticed that he was quite sloppy - even dropping a brush full of trim paint on the floor, as well as drops dripping off the windowsill to the floor. They were painting the last 2 rooms the same color. When we walked in to see how it looked and we noticed areas that were lighter and then another area darker. Osman didn't know how it happened . The helper stated he would re-paint it but Osman said That is just how the paint was. But at that time there was both the flat paint as well as the semi-gloss. What needs to be voiced is that Osman bought the flat paint in all the colors. When they started on that room, I don't know whether he was using the flat or semi gloss paint.-or even a mixture of both. But when the room was repainted the imperfections were not there. I pointed out some holes that Bill had discussed with him that he would fix.- and many of the holes he fixed. At this time , one of the very unprofessional actions happened about 10 minutes later - he got the helpers to take all the paint including the blue paint and left. While he was doing that he continued to complain that he never agreed to fixing the nail holes etc. The blue paint was bought by us. We would not recommend the Company .May 26, 2016VerifiedRealta Construction and Remodeling's reply
Mr. William, When we signed the contract we both agreed that we were doing the paint only, our team asked if you wanted to fix the scratches and wall dents, you said “no, because I we are putting the house for sale and I don’t want to spend a lot of money on fixing it”, you signed the contract and we did what was agreed to on the contract. We provided the paint and used all of it, we never kept any paint. The reason for you for stopping the job when we were 90 % completed was due to your lack of commitment to the contract, you no longer wished to pay us for our services, we completed everything that was agreed to on the executed contract.
Paint inside, install ceiling fan, build-in microwave oven/beverage refrigerator, laminate floors, toilet, sinks, cabinet tops, barn door, paint/stain garage floor/patio cement pad, install bathroom lighting.Mar 13, 2016Verified

I hired them to deal with a move-out of a tenant. Then I hired them to do a make ready. Once a price was agreed upon, I had a completion date. Upon inspection the job was nowhere near completed. Imagine painting a home. You would think painting the garage is part of painting. I was assured that all the things needed to complete the job would be done. I was given a promised date and then another date. I was assured on Thursday, June 11, 2017 that the job would be completed that day. I called on June 12, 2017 to arrange a meeting. No response. I text. No response. I then sent out personnel to see what they have done. Would you believe that nothing was done since our last meeting. THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!May 13, 2017VerifiedRealta Construction and Remodeling's reply
Michael, We did 98% of the job and we agreed on a list. When was time for us to get pay you gave us new list with extra work to do and we were willing to do it but with extra pay. You did not want to pay us so we left. We tried to solved this problem but you refused to listen to us. We still open to get this problem fix. Osman Torres Realta enterprises Inc.
My daughter and I hired Realtá Remodeling in November 2015 to make repairs to the interior and exterior of our home as we are preparing to sell it and we are so satisfied and impressed with Osman and his team that we are now having second thoughts about selling our home! The remodeling of our home was done absolutely perfectly and on time, everything that was listed in the contract was finished and Osman even made some touches to part of the house that were not included in the contract, which we were grateful for. We had work done to the majority of our house: Master restroom/bedroom (the shower was demolished, a new shower with tile was built, damaged sheetrock was repaired along with plumbing issues in the shower drain, countertops were refinished, leaks under the sinks were fixed, a hole in the bedroom wall was patched, the walls and ceiling were primed and painted and new carpet trim was installed.) Guest restroom (the bathtub was refinished, cabinets were replaced and new wood was installed under the sink where there was a leak, rotten baseboards were replaced.) Living/office/family/laundry room (the walls in each room were primed and painted, ceiling texture was perfectly matched, the wood frame of the windows were sanded, caulked, primed and painted, doors were replaced and painted, holes were patched.) Kitchen (countertops were refinished, new sink was installed, the walls and ceiling were primed and painted.) Exterior (rotten wood was replaced, metal was replaced and welded, both garage doors were replaced, rotten backyard siding was fixed, painting and priming were also done). We are so happy with Realtá Remodeling and Osman that we have referred him to numerous friends and family, my daughter and I highly recommend Realtá Remodeling if you are looking for an honest contractor who works hard to make you happy and follows through with the contract. Thank you Realtá Remodeling, Osman and your staff for making our remodeling process an easy one!Dec 15, 2015
