Lara Toman was so sweet and supportive with my preferences for my bridal group! I met Katherine (forgive me if I misspelled her name) during my hair and makeup trial, and she did a fantastic job on blending my acne-prone skin with naturally subtle but noticeable colors. I was disappointed that she wasn't there on my wedding day when confirmed she'll be there, but Lara ended up doing my makeup and she didn't disappoint! Basically there were 2 hairstylists and 1 makeup artist there all ready to go. The makeup crew was very patient with my mother, who is, as much as I love her, can be hard to please at times so she had her makeup "tweaked" three times. Plus an unfortunate event happened right before the wedding, so my mother was being discouraging WHILE I was getting my makeup and hair done. Thankfully, Lara and her team were very encouraging throughout my session. They even stayed longer than they should've. That meant so much to me, because my night was amazing from there onward. I highly recommend going with Empire Faces for wedding events. Our makeup came out great in our professional photos!

Brittany and Krista did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. Both my engagement and wedding pictures turned out great! I would highly recommend a trial. I rarely use makeup so I really wasn't sure what I wanted except a very natural look. The team was so patient when I changed my eyeshadow and lip color multiple times. Figuring all of this out ahead of time prevented stress and saved time the morning of the wedding. Overall I had a great experience with Lara and her team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for special event hair & makeup.

I hired Lara and her beauty team for my wedding and I thought they were awesome. In my group we had 1 Bride, 4 bridesmaids, 1 mother of the groom and a flowergirl to have their hair and makeup done. Lara and the beauty team consisted of 4 stylist/artist. They arrived early, were extremely professional and at the end, everyone loved the way they looked! Several of my bridesmaids and myself even agreed that Lara and her team were the best beauty team we had ever experienced. I highly recommend them for any special event :)

I have used Empire Faces for several occasions and have never been disappointed!! I knew exactly who to call so my daughter nor I would not have to stress about beauty details for her wedding. They provided services for my daughter, her bridesmaids, the groom's mother, the bride's grandmothers and myself. Everyone was beyond satisfied...we all felt more beautiful than ever!!! I will continue to use Empire Faces each and every time I need any makeup or hair done for any occasion. Lara and her crew are easy to work with. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing structure is very simple. We know that wedding planning can be a production, so we offer advice & consultations for free. All pricing is easily found on our website too.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We welcome questions! All consultations are free, and we hope you will call us directly to ask questions. Emails & texts are fine too. It's all about availability, everything else flows from there. Booking is usually done by phone or online when you are ready to reserve the date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We believe in always staying abreast of the latest products, techniques & styles within the beauty industry. As beauty instructors we have expertise in the new looks as well as the tried & true classics.
