We highly recommend Nelson Lopez and Brito Design for any remodeling work. We had Nelson redo our bathrooms, close off a wall and install French doors, and other tasks, and the results are first-class. Every operation in each of the rooms was performed smoothly and efficiently; demolition was quick with daily cleanup of the debris. Nelson was there every day to manage the day-to-day work, bringing in various workers for each step. Several times Nelson found small but important issues that needed to be addressed; he caught a lot of items that others might overlook. We received four quotes for the work, and Nelson's price was right in the middle. We went with Nelson and not the lowest-bidder because of his professional manner and attention to detail. It was a good decision. It was a positive experience to have Nelson and his team work on our house; we would recommend them enthusiastically to anyone.

We previously tried another contractor last year to update our bathroom, and needless to say, my husband and I were not very happy with the results. Nelson came in and took a look at the bathroom, gave suggestions to improve the look and value, price range of the project, and an estimate of the length of the project and how the payments would work.They won't be the most expensive or the cheapest contractor. We still spent more than we would have liked on the bathroom remodel, but we absolutely love our bathroom now! They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day.When we can save up some more money, we definitely want Nelson and his team back to do a few more fixups at our outdated condo!

We hired Nelson to remodel two bathrooms in our home. Overall we are very happy with both projects. We chose Nelson mainly for these reasons: He's a hands-on contractor, typically doing much of the work himself He seemed detail oriented During our consultation he indicated that he used quality materials He listened to our initial ideas and provided some useful suggestions He had good reviews and feedback which seemed genuine His experience level with construction and remodelingOne of our bathrooms was a very challenging space to work with. We feel that Nelson worked with us on the plan and gave some good suggestions along the way. He used quality materials during the remodels: plywood cabinets rather than MDF, high quality cement backer, sheetrock, and paint. One added complexity is that we wanted the walls fully tiled, and with an older home none of our walls are straight. Nelson delivered with fabulous results! They look great. He really paid attention to details.We did both bathrooms back-to-back, taking about 12 weeks to complete with a break during the holidays. Nelson was very communicative throughout. He kept both projects moving along timely. If he needed our input for a decision, he was quick to pause and ask for our preference. He does use some subcontractors as can be expected (vanity tops, shower door glass, cabinet installation). All of them were very respectful and courteous, and they also used quality materials. He was typically on site during any of the work performed by any of the subcontractors, or if not he always asked us ahead of time if we were OK for the subcontractors to come without him being on site.Any issues we noted he has addressed and corrected. We never had to remind him about any of the items we noted. He even pointed out and replaced two tiles that had chips that we had not noticed.We are very pleased with his workmanship and the results. He guided us to high quality tile. We know he used quality materials during framing, and we feel our remodels will reflect a high-end finish for a long time. We definitely recommend him.

I couldn't even began to tell you guys how marvelous of a job Nelson and his crew has done for my family and I in helping us to remodel our outdated kitchen. Just going from a tight area with hardly any room in our kitchen to move around to an open concept with a kitchen island is something my Mom has always dreamt about for a very long time. We have very adequate lighting and updated cabinetry is so sleek but yet so subtle. I, without a shout of a doubt, will definitely recommend Nelson and his crew for any work that needs to be done to or around your house. I for sure will definitely be calling Nelson back for any future work that needs to be done to our house. Kudos to you and your team.

Nelson helped renovate two of our bathrooms. He did a great job prepping the work area and protecting the rest of our house from damage as the contractors entered and exited the house multiple times a day hauling old bathtubs out and bringing in various materials. He clearly communicates each step of the project and is flexible, allowing us to make minor changes as we went along. He stated multiple times that his goal is to make his clients happy, so when we asked for additional work to be done during the renovation, he was happy to make it happen.During one such instance, he introduced us to one of the subcontractors working on the project. We would work directly with the sub to perform some of this additional work. Nelson helped us set the price with the sub and when there was some issues completing this work, he brought in another sub at his own expense to finish. We appreciated how he kept his word and we only needed to pay the original agreed upon price.Overall we are satisfied with the quality of work performed and enjoyed working with Nelson.
