FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A customer should know that prices are on a per job bases. An estimate will be given off observations of job and cost to do job. If customers is happy with estimate I will waive the service call upon agreement of job. If customers is not happy with estimate and does not agree to job. The service fee will remain to cover travel and business expenses. If a customer waits days, weeks or months after an estimate has been provided to agree to job no additional service fee will be added. If a customer wants an additional estimate for another job while we are currently on a service call. No additional service fee will be added.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically meeting with a customer. Introduce myself and let them know the type of work that I do and don’t do. I also do a walk through with customer. Writing down information that they give me for the work they are requesting and confirm the work that needs to be done. On small job I provide an estimate for materials and labor on site via paper copy text or email. On larger job it may take a day or so to source all materials and information will be sent via text or email. Collectively we set and confirm start date of work and I relay how many days the job will take to finish then I exchange contact information with customer so that they we will have a clear line of communication.
