FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is all-in and line-item. Labor, paint, materials, prep, protection, and cleanup are all included in the number on your proposal. No surprise change orders. The only adjustments mid-job are written add-ons you approve in writing first.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Free on-site walkthrough. I measure, ask questions, and listen to what you actually want. 2. Bound line-item proposal within 48 hours. Every square foot, every door, every closet priced and accounted for. Paint product and color locked in writing. 3. Certificate of Insurance issued to you and your property as Additional Insured before Day 1. 4. Deposit confirms your start date. Materials picked up before crew arrives. 5. Daily photo progress reports sent to your phone during the job. House broom-clean every evening. 6. Final walkthrough together, punch list closed, keys back. Final payment due only after you’ve signed off. 7. 1-year written warranty, transferable once with the home.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’m an architectural engineer by training with 10+ years of capital construction experience managing multi-million dollar healthcare and institutional projects. Painting is what I grew up around. Starting AUS-10 Paint in 2022 was about applying real construction management discipline (documented scope, written timelines, insurance done right, daily reporting) to a residential trade where most homeowners get none of that. The big-project habits show up on every single job, whether it’s one room or a whole house.
