Jim and team did a great job leveling my front yard and putting down sod. I also hired a sprinkler system installer that Jim works closely with. I was very pleased with both the sprinkler system and the sod.

This was the first time I had ever hired a landscaper and Jim wasn't intimidating or pushy, he listened to what we wanted do, how much we wanted to spend and suggested plants that would fit our lifestyle (low maintenance & tough plants) and I was surprised how fast the work was done, crew was friendly and kept busy. We were very satisfied with the finished results. We had one type of plant that needed care in cold weather and one day after the job Jim reminded & taught me how to wrap the plant. He really takes pride in his work. Jennifer was very professional also and she kept me updated, and responded to my emails promptly. I look forward to working with them on phase two of our landscaping plans. I highly recommend their team!

They worked with me on the scope of the job and what I could afford. Actually accomplished more than I expected in the time frame. Cleaned up all my beds and left them ready for planting int he spring.

Jim has been great to work with. He did a beautiful job on my total front yard revamp and some back yard sprucing up. He is extremely responsive and has been right on top of my follow up work as well. I can't recommend New Roots highly enough!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, and we are currently browsing registrations for a number of upcoming workshops and webinars about water conservation, urban landscape conservation and business management.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started growing and propagating in my back yard as a stress reliever and what started as a hobby soon grew into a thriving business.
