- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$60/hr for standard recording and mixing. $200 for a 4 hour block $320 for an 8 hour block session $40/hr for a session with a junior engineer $200 for a custom beat/instrumental
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The studio owner has been an educator of Recording Technology for almost 20 years and must stay up to date with the changing industry. We also receive several trade magazines that are also open to clients to read.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We record all ranges of instruments across all genres. Then use Pro Tools and a wide variety of outboard gear and plugins to mix the different tracks together into a coherent mix. Afterwards, we master the track to bring it up to a level, dynamically and tonally, to that of other mastered commercial releases. We also create music for our clients, which usually involves us sitting down and creating the song with the client before going trough the normal recording, mixing, mastering process.
