- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge per session, but I offer different price points including; per session, per week and per month rates. I don't think it's very complicated, but as I pointed out before, I am more than willing to work with customers who have the drive but lack the funds demanded by most trainers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading up on articles, fitness magazines, watching videos etc to see what's new in fitness and sports, what's working and what's not. I like to look up new drills for my basketball clients and I'm always trying new exercises to incorporate into my fitness programs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been a bit of a gym rat and people would always ask me to help them or give them advice on what they could do to reach their fitness goals. Last year I decided to take it a step further by taking the classes I needed to make sure I can provide accurate information.
