Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am meticulous about the overall sound of each piano, because it is always so unique. My goal in tuning is to find the piano's sound and bring out the best in it. I love working with new clients and meeting people in my community. I love feeling productive, I love doing something I'm passionate about, and most of all I love helping people meet their needs.

Piano Tuning

Kevin was very polite, professional and neat. He did the repair needed, then tuned the piano very well. I would certainly recommend him and will use him again when it is time to tune.

Piano Tuning

He came on time. Worked on the piano until it was in tune. Played a pretty song (in tune) and charged a modest and reasonable fee. Great work! Would recommend.

Piano Tuning

An expert tuning of our parlor grand piano. Very efficient, great communication and a superior result. Will certainly use him for our next tuning.

Piano Tuning

Kevin was very prompt to respond to my request and was very accommodating to our school schedule. The pianos that he tuned sound better than ever and was able to do some maintenance on the action while he was tuning!

Piano Tuning

The piano has not been played or tuned for some years. Kevin brought it back to life in two sessions. He was quiet, courteous and worked efficiently. I'm glad to know him and will recommend him to anyone who needs a piano tuning.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we like to understand what is being requested. Then after inspecting the piano and offering a final price we begin working on the instrument, making any adjustments and repairs and finally tuning to perfection.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Piano tuning is a trade learned through practice and hard work. I’ve trained for many years and have trained other tuners. Every piano is unique and adds to my understanding of the instrument.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I trained under Robert Treadway and tuned my way through college. I studied music theory and music history in addition to sociology. After college I decided to keep the business going and have now expanded and hired another tuner. We love tuning pianos and helping customers. It’s more of a passion than anything else.
