I was especially satisfied with the services of Douglas Greene of USA PROCESS. I needed their services related to a custody case in the State of Maryland. I knew that my ex was planning to relocate within 10 days of the end of the month and it was critical to my purpose that she be served before leaving the state of Texas. Because I was not familiar with any of the Texas companies, I went online to scope out some options for process servers in the area. I didn't know one company from the other. I found the Thumbtack site, entered my details and received responses from multiple companies that were interested in taking the job. Although I submitted my inquiry on Thumbtack, I wasn't quite ready to commit, as I was still waiting for my attorney to produce the necessary paperwork.
Of all the Thumbtack responses, Mr. Greene contacted me personally, via the site at least three times, inquiring if I was still interested in the services. None of the others reached out to me beyond their initial response (which also none of the others were personal responses, instead just generic responses with contact and fee info). This is where he first won my attention. For me, this struck me as an individual that was both proactive and persistent, just the kind of qualities one would need for the task at hand. I suspected my Ex would be a challenge, as she was anticipating being served and I knew she would attempt to evade the process.
I hired Mr. Greene, provided him with as much information as I had and emphasized how critical my timeline was. On the first day after receiving the required legal documents, he made his first attempt within an hour of receiving the paperwork. As I initially anticipated, he was diligent and persistent. He sought after her at her residence, her workplace, her current significant other's residence and even neighboring eateries, in his attempts to locate her. He was even able to identify both of their vehicles in his efforts. He was thorough and tenacious. He provided consistent communication, as he called or texted me with updates at every turn. He kept me aware of his plans and next steps. This was especially reassuring, because I was on pins and needles, concerned about her being served before she was able to leave town. Finally, within a week, I got the call…SUCCESS!!! It was done! Mission accomplished and she was served!!!!!!
As an added bonus his rates were extremely reasonable. This was particularly important to me, because I already had mounting legal fees pertaining to my legal battle. As a private individual seeking his services, he provided me a flat fee, where all the other companies indicated that they had additional charges for more than 3-4 attempts, for expedited services, if your subject was not located within a certain area/range and they also charged additional hourly fees if they would need to wait around and stake the individual out.
If you are looking to have someone served, particularly if you expect they will provide a challenge, you can trust that Mr. Greene is persistent and tenacious, will go above and beyond, doing everything within his power to get the job done! He's good at what he does.…. a true professional!
