Introduction: I teach business English and business Spanish via the case method. Each language offered (currently English, Spanish, and Portuguese very soon), engages the student via real business cases.
The cases - three pages long on the average - engages the student in business scenarios so the person can learn the correct language of accounting, finance, human resources, engineering, budgeting, etc. I offer free - at no cost - an evaluation of the student or students (maximum of 10) and one free lesson so that the learner understands clearly his current ability in the language and how he can master the real and modern business language.
There are three sections to the program: beginner, intermediate and advanced (all international scenarios). Each section is approximately 40 hours long, for a total from beginning to end, 120 hours. Of course, some students go faster than the designed hours. This is not a course of the typical language course where you learn how to interact in a scenario of grocery store, or a restaurant, an apartment or a shopping spree. Each manual has a unique and constantly updated business dictionary. Thus, the student in each case - 13 to 15 per manual progressively advances to more difficult business scenarios. Student receives each manual and dictionary electronically. Some classes can be done via Skype, but most students prefer "face to face" learning and at the end, the student is able to converse, read and write in the business language learned.
I have over 30 years of international business experience and at least 16 in public school environment. My academic background is a B.A., M.A., M.B.A., and Ed.D. I work with students from many parts of the world and have had well-satisfied students.
