Time management and preparedness were also disappointing. The photographer arrived approximately 30 minutes late to the session, and the shoot was cut short due to battery issues despite having additional batteries available.
Additionally, there were multiple missed delivery timelines and communication delays regarding the edited photos. While I eventually received a large number of files, much of the stress surrounding this experience came from inconsistent communication and the handling of concerns after they were raised.
I do appreciate the effort put into providing additional content and understand that the session was offered at a promotional rate. However, professionalism, communication, and honoring agreed deliverables are important regardless of price point. My review is based solely on my personal experience.

I want to address the owner’s response because it is misleading and leaves out the main issue: he failed to provide the service at the agreed scheduled time, then refused to refund my deposit for a service that had not been performed.
This shoot was originally scheduled for Friday, May 15 from 5–7 PM. I texted and called earlier that day to confirm the appointment and received no response. After the scheduled appointment window had already passed, he finally responded and told me they could not find a photographer. At that point, I kindly asked for a refund of my deposit because no one showed up for the job. He said no, and told me he would get someone out the next day.
That also did not happen. On May 16, he still could not provide a photographer, so I again asked for a refund. He refused again and then rescheduled the shoot for May 17. So the claim that he simply “sent me a point of contact” is not accurate. The job was rescheduled on me twice after they failed to show up.
The owner also keeps bringing up “limited budget” as an excuse. We originally agreed on $175 through Thumbtack. After they failed to show up, he said he could not find someone to make the commute for that price because he outsources the work and hires other photographers. We then mutually agreed to increase the price to $215. That was his agreed price. A business owner cannot accept a job, fail to show up, increase the price, and then later use the agreed-upon price as an excuse for poor service.
The “scam” accusation is completely baseless. I paid a $50 deposit up front for travel, and he did not release the photos until he was paid in full. The total project cost was $215, and I have proof of payment. There was no way for me to scam him when he had my deposit and required full payment before releasing the photos.
I also never asked for same-day expedited edited photos. I simply asked for the company to show up to the job at the scheduled time they agreed to, which they failed to do twice. The only time I asked for a refund was when they failed to show up and had not performed the service. After the photos were eventually delivered, I told him I was over the situation and that he could keep the money.
As for the final product, the photos speak for themselves. Several rooms were photographed with the lights off during what was supposed to be a professional real estate photo shoot. No matter what budget was agreed upon, there is no excuse for delivering professional real estate photos where the lights are off in multiple rooms. Turning on lights and making the home look properly lit is one of the most basic expectations of a real estate photography service. Many of the edited photos also had an obvious yellow/green tint, which made the final product look unprofessional.
The owner’s response confirms the problem. Instead of taking accountability for missed appointments, poor communication, and poor editing, he blamed the customer, the budget, the location, and made accusations about being scammed. I would strongly caution others before doing business with this company. Please see pictures attached directly contradicting his baseless claims, deflecting his accountability and ownership in the matter.
