Introduction: Lockharts Services specializes in customizing meals for clients and strives to create delicious, healthy, customized meals that are made with the finest, freshest ingredients and no preservatives or additives. Now this is what I bring to you. Allow me to share my gifts and passion for the freshest seasonal ingredients, paired together with my unique international food point of view to give you a truly one of a kind dining experience. I craft each menu tailored to your wants and needs, and serve them with the upmost care and professionalism. Be it a romantic dinner for two, a few days of dinners to warm up, or that once in a lifetime event of hundreds, me and my team execute with success, every time. No matter what the request, what the dish, or what the event, around here the answer is Always My Pleasure!!! I love cooking for so many reasons that's it's sometimes difficult to dissect the whole beast and see it as the sum of it's parts. 1. The processes of making food. Caramelization, emulsion (remember the first time you made mayo? I was giddy), searing, frying, freezing, molding, dicing, mincing, roasting, steaming, grilling, deglazing, proofing, liquifying (always satisfying), tasting, tasting, tasting, and the are plenty more where that came from. 2. Eye of the hurricane. There's a real sense of power that comes from maintaining control in a situation that seems too large to be dealt with, and remaining calm and collected while delegating tasks in the exact order they need to be executed in. Balancing becomes a sort of spiritual ascension as turmoil is replaced by focus. 3. Food. I'm not sure how to convey the love I have for the products I receive and seeing that they're used in a manner that fits something provided for us by the Earth. There is for me, a soulful, quasi-religious connection to food, beyond the fact that it is nourishment and delicious. Just the fact that we eat to live makes me feel that my profession is sacred. 4. Community. There's small group psychology at work here, and by testing your limits with a unique group of individuals, you become as tightly bonded as soldiers in a foxhole. There's intelligence, humor, charisma, and many lesser traits that bind you to your co-workers. There's a feeling of belonging which is difficult to describe and impossible to explain to anyone who hasn't been in a group in that type of stressful situation. 5. Plating. There's no sense of accomplishment that I've felt that compares to finishing a plate exactly the way you want it, all elements balanced, and you get that moment to look at it objectively, getting out of the way and letting the food do the talking. 6. Sensuality. I don't think there's anything you can do that connects you more to another person than preparing their food. It requires an immense measure of trust, and your work becomes a part of another living breathing person. 7. Creative fullfillment. I can have the spark of an idea in the morning, and be making money on it by lunch. I can see all my leftovers and create something which is delicious and profitable. I can create with only my imagination and will as limitations. 8. Learning/teaching. These are the two sides of the same thing, and in cooking the only limitations to what you can learn are self imposed, and being able to easily disseminate that information and experience gives others the spark of passion that I feel for what I do. Even if cooking isn't what they want to do forever, I can help them look inside to find what it is that they must do to make themselves whole. There's more, I'm sure, but those seem like the key points to me right now.

WOW! Pretty much somes it all up, I never in all my years tasted good that was so good, I personally would like the recombine the Spaghetti, never have tasted anything like it, I told Mrs. Lockhart the same, and was an award winner, really was people, backed up by trophies, but mainly what stands out is her great professional service and great good!!!!The Healthy Chef has my vote over all my personal experiences with food and service!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing Information For personal chef services pricing includes: consultation, customized menu, personalized shopping, and cost of groceries paid 3 days in advance, meal preparations, food storage, easy to follow heating & handling instructions. Clean up is included for all on-site preparations. **Please note that proper storage containers will be needed to store your meals in the refrigerator or freezer. Container fees are addressed at the bottom of this page Minimum meal service is 3 meals per cook date & maximum is 5 meals serving one to four persons. Each meal consists of an entrée is a one dish type meal or in the case of vegan or vegetarian meals then only one appropriate side dish would be provided. Service fee is $375.00 per cook date plus grocery reimbursement. Frequency of service is client's choice of weekly, twice weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cook dates. If you have other needs such as servings of more than 4, more than 5 meals, or lunch & dinner meals please call for pricing. SPECIALTY DIETS: If client desires a weight loss plan such as Low-Carbohydrate, Low-Calorie, Low-Fat, (IE: Atkins, Dukan, Eat Right For Your Blood Type, Eat To Live, HCG, Sonoma, South Beach, Weight Watchers, Zone, etc.) or Vegan/Vegetarian the fee is $400.00 plus grocery reimbursement. ******CONTAINER FEES****** Disposable Containers (Gladware, Ziploc, Rubbermaid "take-a-longs"): charged at reimbursement costs only & are replaced only on an "as needed basis" Plastic Containers (Anchor Hocking, Homz, Rubbermaid): $100.00 annual fee* Glass Containers (Pyrex, Corning Ware, Anchor-Hocking): $180.00 onetime fee* ***Please note that all container fees are based on family-style packaging of largest plan and is adjusted accordingly depending on plan selected &: servings amounts. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Chef Lockhart personal chef service is a necessity instead of a luxury. It allows you to have more quality time but not compromise healthy delicious dinners. There is no more fuss about stopping at the supermarket, wondering what to pick up. There's no more slaving away in the kitchen after a long hard day. It allows you to enjoy your lifestyle and have more time to take care of the demands of every day needs. It also can save you money by no longer buying on impulse or throwing out food that has gone bad because with even well intentions, just didn't get around to cooking some of the ingredients bought. How the service works? It all begins with a free, no obligation consultation, which usually takes about 45 minutes depending on how many questions you may have. This consultation allows Chef Lockhart, your personal chef, to meet with you and your family to discuss your likes and dislikes, food allergies or sensitivities, and any dietary restrictions. A sample menu is provided for you to choose from, request that family recipe you just can't live without but don't have time to make, or try that new recipe you saw on TV or in a magazine. During the consultation, you will also choose how often you desire the service. Some clients prefer a weekly or a biweekly service while others may prefer a monthly service. About 3 days prior to your scheduled cook date, I will email or call you to discuss the customized menu in which you then decide if any changes are desired or not. On the scheduled cook date, I will shop for only the freshest meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. I then bring all the ingredients and my own cooking equipment to your home. All the meals are prepared fresh that day, packaged in labeled storage containers and stored in your refrigerator and/or freezer. I also include easy to follow instructions on how to heat every mouthwatering dish. I then clean up after myself, leaving only the mouthwatering scent of delicious food just waiting specifically for you! If preferred, delivery is available. Your part? Heat, eat and enjoy while knowing you can have healthy great tasting meals on your table in 30 minutes or less.
