FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on time and the number of finished images. Less expensive sessions are shorter and you receive a lower number of finished photos. We do not reduce quality. Ever. You'll get our best work for small projects, but you'll just get less of it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have a brief telephone call with the customer before the session to get an idea what the customer wants and to be sure the customer knows what I can provide.. The most basic services require little consultation. More involved commercial projects require substantial pre-shoot consultation, creation of mood boards, shoot schedules, etc., well ahead of the shoot date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began serious photography over 30 years ago in film, using a Nikon and a Medium format Bronica. I built a darkroom in which I processed and printed color and black & white. In the early 2000s, when digital had matured enough to rival film, I transitioned to Canon digital gear and never looked back.
