I am positive that I was the least prepared, most disorganized, least decisive and slowest person that my moving team has ever moved. In addition to that, I have an angry cat, two barking dogs, two hyperactive children, a nagging mother, an absent husband and a bunch of heavy, awkward furniture. I made impossible demands and wasted my moving team's time while I fretted over such compelling things as "where should this box go?" I might have even tried to get them to do things they really didn't want to do, like give me style and decor tips. "Where do YOU think I should put that?". Yet, despite all of my nonsense and bullshit, Kevin and his team were AMAZING. They didn't criticize my crappy plan to pack a 3k square foot home in only 2 days. They just kept rolling, like real pros do. And they didn't even blink when I asked if they wanted to make a 2nd trip to my old house. We didn't do it in the end, but they would have, and that's awesome.
Would it surprise you if I said they actually made the move fun? Well they did! They were fast, professional, helpful and kind, even when I was the opposite. I would have totally kept them here for days if it wasn't for that pesky hourly charge. I might even move again, just so they can come back. Hire Expert Moving Co. ask for Kevin and his team. You won't be disappointed.
Update: I was serious about how much I loved these guys...I had them come back! This time I worked with a different, although still fabulous, group of guys. This moving thing was bigger than I thought. They quickly and professionally packed up the remainder of my junk that I could not finish packing and cheerfully waited on me to do my part. When I say these guys go above and beyond, I mean it. Chasing dogs, entertaining old women (respectfully of course), not passing judgment on piles of crap that really have no business being moved, being incessantly patient. Now I'm pretty sure that no matter what team you get you'll be satisfied. And I know for sure that if you get Kevin team you will be stress free. Really full service that makes moving so much easier. Thanks for the help--I couldn't have done it without y'all. I'd still be buried under the pile of junk in my garage that initially took your breath away. ;) i definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to do a big project ask for Kevin's crew,thanks guys.

We hired Expert moving company after looking at their reviews on Thumbtack. We decide to check them out for ourselves. We recently purchased a townhouse and the closing date and my lease end date didn't match up by one week. So I had the pleasure of moving twice in a 7 day period. I thought this was going to be a miserable experience moving my apartment into a storage unit then 7 days later into a condo. It might have been awful had I not found this company.
I had 3 movers and 1 truck for my move. These guys crew leader, Victor and German for the 1st move, called ahead to let me know they'd be to my building soon. The men were on time and were fun to work with. They took care of all the furniture, wrapping stuff and carefully transferring everything into the truck. I could not have been more satisfied. One week later I scheduled with the same company again to move me into my townhouse once it was ready. I was happy to see two of the same guys Kevin and Victor, return for the 2nd part of my move. They were again awesome at their craft and I knew they were seasoned movers. They moved everything into the new townhouse and were careful as always. The best part of working with these guys was that they just had a fun positive attitude the entire time. They worked hard and speedy the whole time but like they enjoyed their job. This might seem irrelevant but believe me, when you're moving it really helps to have people around that ease the stress of the entire thing. It definitely helped me be calm.
Without a doubt I was happy with my service and I recommend Expert moving company, especially having used them twice in a one week period. I highly recommend them to anyone reading this if you want fun and relaxing move, careful, hard working movers on your next move. My cable guy even noticed how good these guys were. He got their business card before they left so he could use them for his next move. Thanks Victor and his crew! Really appreciate all the hard work and excellent customer service!!

We are an old senior couple. My wife decided to do some remodeling and we needed to get some furniture out of the house fairly quickly. A friend of mine previously used Thumbtack to find a company to clean his office. So I decided to use Thumbtack to help us find a reasonably priced moving company. My whole experience with Expert Moving was excellent. My first contact with the company in setting up my appointment left me extremely happy. Maurissa assisted me in booking and re-scheduling my services on short notice. They accommodated my changes without a hassle. What a relief! I had contacted several moving companies prior, but selected this one because of their thorough explanation of services and positive attitude during my last minute changes. Our experience with the crew members on moving day was fantastic to say the least. The gentlemen who moved our furniture were kind, courteous and easy to work with. They worked like professionals as were quick, and careful with our furniture. I dreaded moving, but the guys brought the energy and enthusiasm to make a laborious task, easy and worry free. We have a heavy bedroom set that is not easy to move but they moved it with ease. Glad we had some strong manpower. Everything was done well and very professionally by them.
My wife has an antique china cabinet and heavy glass candle holders and other antiques.The movers crated our very fragile 90 pound glass statues, also double wrapped my china cabinet and were very careful moving it. They belonged to my grandmother, they are irreplaceable. They did a AMAZING job and went above and beyond for us.The 3 man crew moved and treated each piece like it was their personal furniture. The movers wrapped my delicate items with special protection crating, they called it, in order to keep them safe. I had several antique pieces that were family heirlooms. While not valuable to anyone but me, they were handled with extra care. Victor, Melvin, and Joshua were the hardest workers we have the pleasure to work with. They are gold star employees!!!..such a great attitudes, they really care about the job that they do.
We are grateful for the hard-working team that we got, especially the crew leader Victor. I believe he should be immediately promoted due to his leadership and customer service excellence, Victor represents the type of professionalism that is too rare to see these days. Thank you guys again for a wonderful experience.
Once we are done with the remodel, I will be calling them again to move us back. I will be asking for the same crew.

Expert Moving company was just awesome. Apartment moving is such a pain in the neck but the 2 movers, Pedro and his colleague did such an amazing job.. i was very particular about a morning move and most of other companies dont do 1 bed apt move in the mornings.. they came 15 mins before 8 (a rarity in this world) and finished move at 10:00 sharp (i booked for 2 hours).. they never dragged their feet when moving, did great job wrapping up my mattress, media center, dismantled bed and assembled it back. Awesome job!! Keep it up!! Highly recommended!!

My previously booked mover hadn't shown up and i gave this company a call a day before and told them that i needed to move the next day. They were so accommodating that they agreed to do the move on a sunday which was the next day. They came exactly at the time they promised, shrink wrapped the furniture and loaded it including all other boxes from a 2 bedroom apartment and moved it to the new apartment and even put the furniture and other stuff exactly where we wanted them in the way we wanted them. And all this under 3 hours. They are really awesome in what they do, they know what they are doing and are truly professional and extremely friendly and easy to work with. Also they are very transparent and upfront with all the pricing. I will definitely use them again in my next move and would refer them to all my friends in need without missing a heartbeat.
