Introduction: Hello, everyone! My name is Khalid. I’m a photographer based in Houston, Texas, specializing in individual and family portraits, engagements, weddings, birthdays, sports, events and more. I first picked up my hobby in photography well over a decade ago now. I started to get more serious about photography around 2015 and have been hired countless times delivering high quality results every single time. If I had to pick one word to best describe what I do, it would be “versatile.” I have experience in photographing just about everything from individual and family portraits, birthdays, events, weddings, sports and one of my personal favorites, astrophotography. One thing I really love about what I do is building that connection and relationship with my clients. From getting to know them and understanding what they want exactly, to photographing them, to editing their photos and of course, the main reason why I do this, to have fun! I had a wonderful portrait session with Khalid. He is very professional and his quality of work is captivating. On time and able to set up the space rented out for our family session. He is able to handle such a big crowd/family to direct portraits skillfully. My family had a great time and was able to warm them up for the grand family portraiture. Very thoughtful. His photos are well framed and beautifully edited. If you need portraiture, Khalid is your guy.

I worked with Khalid for maternity pictures. He was very easy to work with. First of all he is super quick to respond your messages. I had to reschedule our appointment and he was very accommodating. He got the pictures ready the next day! The pics looks beautiful. I think he is a very competent photographer. I also think he is a good person. As I’m heavily pregnant I walk very slowly and sometimes I need to take breaks. He made sure that we weren’t walking too fast and kept asking me if I was doing fine. Overall I definitely recommend Khalid for your next photo shoot.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe my prices are very fair for the work I offer. Pricing is always negotiable, though!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To fully understand what the customer has in mind. The vision of the photos they want. Some might not even know what they want exactly. That’s when I come in with some of my ideas and experience and see what they would like to try.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It all started when I was teen. I always loved taking pictures of everything I found interesting. Around 2015 is when I really started to focus on portrait photography.
