Introduction: I provide counseling and life coaching services to individuals, couples, and families online and in the Greater Austin area. I also provide premarital counseling and I am an approved, registered provider for the Twogether in Texas Program. I am an ordained minister and also officiate weddings. As a Veteran, I specialize in serving the military community. I also specialize in working with the special needs community and provide ABA Services and consultation. Some of the areas I can help with include: Premarital counseling Infidelity and trust issues Building intimacy Stress and anger management Conflict resolution Improving communication Dealing with grief Improving relationships, including same-sex Parenting including single parents, step parents, same-sex, and co-parenting Addiction and recovery Break-ups/divorce Managing cultural differences My approach is eclectic and client-centered. This means that I understand that there is no "one size fits all" approach. I believe in following the lead of the client and taking the time to listen and find out what they really need. From there, it's a collaborative effort to develop and implement a strategy for achieving and maintaining the client's goals. I am trained in many theories and approaches including Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, and Reality Therapy. I have learned that the best approach is just to be non-judgmental and authentic.
