I had contacted several door companies to fix a Condo Door at one of our listings. We ran into an issue with the door being a commercial door in a residential unit. Several companies wouldn't even come out to look at the door simply because it was inside of a residence. We were quickly approaching our closing date so I reached out to Thumbtack and sent photos of the door as well as the issue we kept running into, to several companies. Jim at Allstate Glassworks responded to my request and squeezed us in to take a look at the door, due to our time restraints. We couldn't even get the door opened, but Jim had all of his supplies with him and was able to open it within minutes. Not only was he able to repair the door, but he got us in quickly, fixed the door and potentially helped us avoid what could have turned into a bad real estate story!

Jim Hallmon made the repairs he had analyzed as being the cause of the double aluminum entrance doors to our church not closing properly. After he finished and left, I noted that there was still an intermittent issue with the doors not closing properly. He responded to my telephone call immediately and wanted to return there from another job right away. I told him it was late in the day and we scheduled for the day after Memorial Day. He showed up as promised and made the necessary adjustments. Doors are now working as they should.

I spoke to Jim at Allstate Glassworks and gave him our requirements to put in a new door at our warehouse and he gave us a quote in two days. We will be using Allstate Glassworks for work at our new warehouse location in Katy.
