Truly outstanding. Wilson showed up right on time and got to work promptly. He was extremely professional, courteous and diligent with his work. He went over my entire roof cleaning all gutters out and he was worth every penny. I'll definitely be saving his information for future projects! Keep up the excellent work, sir. I hired SWS because my neighbor was using them during a move out. I was impressed with the work they were doing at his house and hoped they could make my house look better. OMG!! They steam cleaned the pet stains out of my carpet, wiped down walls, and even moved my stove and fridge and cleaned behind them!! I am beyond impressed and I am telling all of my friends to use them. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

The Cleaning Angels were truly my angel this week! I was traveling all week, not due back in time until very late the night before a party I was hosting so needed an urgent clean. I literally put the request out 2 days before In needed on Fri, 6/29 and The Cleaning Angels went above and beyond to coordinate through their schedule to work me in! The owner is super nice to work with and we were pleased with the service.

High quality, thorough, efficient work! My floors look amazing! The initial reservation was a day of steam cleaning my upstairs carpets & downstairs tile and grout. I can not believe that they were able to get all of those post Hurricane black marks out of my carpet and the residual dry wall powder out of the grout. I was very impressed. Then For a little extra money, he came back a couple days later and sealed my tile and grout! Amazing that my floors looked so bad and dull in the first place. Now they Shine and look fabulous! Very affordable to have all this done. I have already given there name and number out. Will definitely call them back again!

He was very professional in his service. Did job what was agreed on. After the stretching it does need cleaning to really tell if it needs any touching up. Hoping it doesn't but if so I hope he'll touch it up. I would definitely refer him to friends.

I hired WCR for carpet cleaning and repair of a rental property we held. The carpet was in very bad shape, which included rips, tears, and stains from a prior pet of a tenant. The carpet repair (patches) turned out well, and the carpet cleaning and deodorizing came out as well as one come expect (based on the circumstances). I would not have any reservations in using WCR's services in the future.

Big Brother's responded quickly, came to service my rugs on same day and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I have pets, so my rugs needed a deep cleaning. They smell and feel so much better now thanks to Big Brother's! I received the deep steam cleaning, deodorizor, and scotch guard for a really low price. They even said theyll call to schedule again in three months, what a convienence! Thank you for a job well done guys! I'd recommend them to anyone who needs carpet cleaning.

David performed an excellent job in cleaning, recoloring and sealing my kitchen, foyer, and bathroom tile. He also sealed the wall tile in my bathtub/shower area. The results are beyond my expectations and at a very affordable cost. As David was moving a potted palm from my foyer to the dining room, the lip separated from the rest of the clay pot and crashed to the wood flooring. He promptly cleaned it up, examined the flooring to ensure there was no damage, and then discounted approximately $40 from my quote to pay for a replacement pot. This incident was in no way his fault; in fact, it appears the palm was overdue for re-potting in a larger container. Nonetheless, he took responsibility. Moreover, David offered to caulk around the toilet and tub to ensure a tight seal and is coming back after the weekend to do this at no additional cost. I am extremely satisfied with AAA Tile Masters and would absolutely recommend this company to others.

I bought a house last month and the carpet was so nasty that I need either to change the carpet or try for a carpet clean. Then I found Willy from thumtack app. He is a true professional. He came with his 2 awesome men and took every effort to clean the carpet. My carpet is so clean now except for few very tough stains here and there. He charged me $300 to clean my 4 bedroom 2 story house, deep cleaned my kitchen/bathrooms tile flooring too. I will definitely recommend Willy for your carpet cleaning.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

Who cleans area rugs?

Like your carpets, area rugs should ideally be cleaned at least once a year to remove dust and dirt and help them last longer. In general, carpet cleaning professionals also clean area rugs. Some rug cleaners bring their cleaning equipment to your home, while others remove your area rugs and clean them at their facilities. Either way, the rug should be cleaned with the solution most appropriate to its specific fabric and construction. It should also be completely dry before you return it to the floor.

What is upholstery cleaning?

From your carpets to your drapes to your furniture, all fabrics need to be cleaned. Cleaning upholstery, or the fabric on your furniture, removes the dirt and oils that are transferred to couches and chairs through regular use. Because furniture upholstery can be delicate and colors can fade easily, it’s often a good idea to let professional sofa cleaners handle the job. They’ll determine the type of fabric — usually cotton, linen, wool, suede or microfiber — and the appropriate method for cleaning it, either steam-cleaning or applying a dry-cleaning solvent. In general, cleaning an entire piece of furniture includes a pretreatment, cleaning, and neutralizing rinse to the body, plus removing and cleaning all cushions and cleaning all crevices.

An upholstery cleaner may clean the entire piece of furniture, on a regular schedule or by request, or do spot treatments to remove pet, food, drink, or oil and grease stains. Furniture can also be deodorized to remove the smell of pets or tobacco smoke. Furniture that’s used often, like that in your family room, should be cleaned once a year to keep it fresh and extend its life. Sofa cleaners often also offer repair services to mend tears in fabric or patch holes in leather.

How often should carpets be steam cleaned?

Dirty carpets can be unhealthy for the people living in the home, particularly those who have allergies, so it’s important to have them cleaned regularly; simply vacuuming once or twice a week isn’t enough. Carpet cleaning should be done by a professional carpet cleaning service at least once a year to remove grime and help extend the life of your carpet. Most carpet manufacturers recommend professional steam cleaning, which penetrates deep into the carpet fibers and lifts out both dirt and the pollutants that get tracked inside. Steam cleaning also removes most of the moisture, so carpets dry quickly enough for homeowners to resume using them the same day. Between professional carpet cleanings, your carpet may need an emergency spot cleaning. Pet accidents, food or drink spills, and more can often be effectively cleaned with some water and a drop of white vinegar, although many cleaners will also make house calls for smaller spills and hard-to-clean spots like wine or grease stains.

How much does it cost to clean a rug?

Area rugs are typically found in high-traffic areas of the home, like hallways and entryways, so they collect more dirt and stains than simple vacuuming can handle. Similar to carpet cleaning, professionals can come to your home to deep-clean your area rugs. The national average cost for rug cleaning ranges from $80 to $120, but may be higher or lower depending on the rug’s size and fiber type. Rug cleaners generally charge by the square foot; for example, a standard 8-foot by 10-foot rug costs an average of $100 to clean. Natural fiber rugs, such as wool or silk, are usually more expensive to have cleaned than synthetic rugs. A carpeting cleaning company may charge on average $1.50 per square foot to clean a synthetic rug, $2 per square foot for a wool rug, and $3 per square foot for a silk rug. Some delicate rugs need to be washed by hand, which increases the price. Carpet cleaning companies often offer additional services, such as removing odors or applying moth deterrent, which can add 20 cents to 25 cents per square foot.

How much does it cost to clean a carpet?

Carpet cleaning costs vary depending on the type of cleaning, such as steam cleaning, and whether there are any stains that require special treatment. The main cost factors are the square footage of the carpet and the material it’s made from. The national average carpet cleaning price ranges from $100 to $130 for a typical suburban home, but steam cleaning prices start at an average of $120. In general, professional carpet cleaning ranges from an average of 20 cents to 50 cents per square foot, depending on where you live. Many companies have a minimum fee or room requirement — such as two rooms for an average of $40 each — and will charge more to clean carpeted stairs or a second floor. Finally, the carpet fiber type, density and pile will also affect the cost of cleaning; man-made fibers are stain-resistant and easier to clean, while wool carpeting is sensitive to water and requires more care.
