Hiring Geff was truly the best money I have ever spent!
Biggie is my two-year-old toy Maltipoo. Even though he came from a breeder and lives in a small family of two, we struggled with his behavior for a year and a half. He barked excessively at every little noise, person, and dog. Walking him was extremely frustrating because he pulled terribly on the leash and barked at everyone we passed. He also had problems with biting, resource guarding, and occasional accidents inside the house.
Geff picked Biggie up right on time for two weeks of training in his home. Throughout the entire two weeks, he kept me updated with pictures, videos, and text messages. He also took Biggie on field trips to places like Home Depot, where he taught him how to behave calmly in stores, in public, around people, and around other dogs.
After two weeks, Biggie came home like a completely different dog. No more excessive barking, terrible leash pulling, biting, or resource guarding. Walking him is now enjoyable, and our home is much more peaceful. Biggie is happier, more confident, and able to enjoy a much better quality of life. My life has changed, too.
If a dog is going to be a part of our family for the next 10 or 20 years, I truly believe that professional training with the right trainer is one of the best and most necessary investments we can make. As a business owner, dog lover, and someone who understands how difficult these problems can be for families, I now find myself passing out Geff’s business cards more often than my own!

I can understand the fear of putting your pet in the hands of a stranger, but believe me when I say that you won’t feel that way with Mr. Lanham. He answered all 100 of my questions without making me feel like a bother and in a timely manner. We sat down together to make a game plan for my four-year-old Rottweiler, and he assured me that he could help equip me with the right tools to handle my big baby. He picks up and drops off your dog as well, which was a pleasant addition. One of my main concerns was money. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find a trainer without having to sell my kidney, but Mr. Lanham's prices are reasonable. With his spring discount, my dog’s 3 week board and train program was priced at 2.5k. Overall, I am happy with my decision to go with Mr. Lanham's services.

I can't begin to describe how amazing Mr. Lanham's service has been. He was attentive and extremely understanding to my needs. In a short period of time he transformed my babies into obedient little angels. From commands to potty training he has done an outstanding job. Our 7 month old mix breed puppy spent two weeks with Jeff. He worked hard on training and gave him love and attention. Jeff had to tend to him due to a minor stomach issue, he went out of his way to bring him a different brand of food, cooked chicken and rice for him until our pup felt better! They went on field trips to ensure the training was effective. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First , there is a preliminary consultation, resulting in a complete understanding of the dog's problem behavior. Then we will work together to create a plan that best fits you and your dog. Again, I get results .....with a happy client and happy dog!
Full Service is always included! Board and Train Package always include pick up and drop off once your dog's training is completed. Upon completion of the training the client, dog, and I go through an intensive " go home " lesson with the dog in their home environment. Go home package includes personalized training collar, leash and place cot.
