- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have worked withpet rescue and adoption's for a long time. I always planned on pet sitting after I retired. Glad to say I recently retired! Worked for doctors for many years however animals are my passion.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Usually visits to the home while the owner is out of town. This includes letting the dog outside for potty breaks, feeding and watering, Spending some good quality time with them and letting them spend some time out in the yard or on the leash if that's what the pet wants to do. Usually they do!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If there is a question in your mind---maybe this is the first time you've used a pet sitter, it's always good to check a reference so you feel more confident about the person that you were hiring. Also check the profile to see if that person did successfully pass the background check. Thumbtack.com provides that information.
