- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is going to depend on what you want to have provided. I charge the cost of groceries, plus $20 an hour cooking time. For a cooking lesson I charge a base of $50. All of these prices are negotiable and subject to change of course depending on the client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Cooking for myself at home just doesn't allow me to share the great secrets and delicious recipes I've picked up along the years. I want to give this knowledge away, be it to someone just starting out their vegan life-style, someone curious about a vegan life-style or even someone who has knowledge to share!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you are as detailed as possible. Don't like tofu? Hate brussel sprouts? The texture of banana grosses you out? Let me know! Being vegan is already about as 'picky' as you can get. Don't be afraid to speak out about what you prefer. It's your body! Do right by it!
