Introduction: Adrian Santiago and Project Black Studios is primarily focused on producing quality cinematic visuals, and that takes time. It takes us time as independent filmmakers because it takes big Hollywood productions with millions of dollars time it is simply THE PROCESS. THE PROCESS varies from project to project, but clients can always be assured that THE PROCESS is put together in the interest of saving time, saving money, and doing things the right way. What began as a teenager's interest developed into a full-blown production studio. At first I believed I was "good at it", but after my clients have gone on to boost sales, increase their social media reach, and even pick up Award Nominations and Wins, I can confidently say "I am GREAT at this." To me, I am pushing a button and sliding lights around... for my clients, I'm changing their LIVES. I've even had the luck of working with several celebrities, and it's extraordinarily flattering to have them come up and ask ME questions about things they don't understand about cameras, movies and the like. Did I mention that filmmaking has taken me around the world? Because it has... I didn't even need to pay for my passport!

I've worked together with Adrian on a number of projects and also referred people to him for others. He offers a unique combination of artistic vision, technological skills, and financial savvy in planning, filming and distributing any project ranging from commercials to feature length films. The production value in everything he does delivers five dollars worth of quality for every dollar actually spent. Hes been open to any project Ive referred to him; e.g., he once shot, edited and delivered a terrific short demonstrating a star high school softball pitchers skills pitch by pitch for her use in seeking college scholarships. I recommend him highly for any film project.

Great quality and price. I Hired Adrian to shoot and edit footage for a commercial. He did a spectacular job rounding up talent, coordinating all of the actors and managing the video shoot. Easy to work with and helped with script suggestions. Will use again in the future.

It's actually pretty simple! $1200/Day Shoot + Edit Combo Rate Your typical 8+ Hour Day on location! With Full Gear + 4 Hours of Editing Services Included! 50% to be paid in advance, 50% upon completion! $600/Day Shoot ONLY Rate Your typical 8+ Hour Day on location! With Full Gear Editing Services NOT Included! 50% to be paid in advance, 50% upon completion! $150/Hour A la Carte Rate Minimum Hourly Rate for either Shooting with Full Gear OR Editing Services! 50% to be paid in advance, 50% upon completion! (NOTE: Because I am willing to travel internationally, those associated expenses may affect the quote I give for video work. I'm not at all a "first class, five star" kinda guy, I'll be looking at "what I need" compared to "what I'd like".) Payment Options: I am able to accept Cash, Checks, Credit Cards, and PayPal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm basically a wise old man chattering among wise old men. If anything, I *am* the continuing education for people in my field... I've taught HD Filmmaking Workshops as far away as Dubai, UAE and Acting on Screen Workshops as close as Dallas, TX. I've been asked to speak to high school theater arts classrooms for Colleyville, Grand Prairie and Irving, TX. I would definitely like to speak to more young people as time goes on, hopefully I can say some magic phrase that lights the creative fuse in their brains!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was young, my family bonded a lot around movies and television. Movies such as "Wayne's World", which pulled back the curtain on television work for my young eyes. As movies blended into digital creation, and as video games (a digitial creation) began blending into movies, their convergence stood out to me like a beacon. "If I could evoke an emotion in movies, I could work both in the movies AND games industry"... both are equally fascinating to me, though admittedly, I am an amatuer game designer at best.
