I have hired people to refinish my furniture in the past. And I have to be honest.. My experience wasn't the best. I was very nervous and cautious when I put in my request for a furniture refinisher. Debra was amazing to work with! She walked me through the whole process and was incredibly helpful. She eased my mind and when I dropped off my table to be redone, I knew I was leaving it in good hands. She helped me pick out a color, showed me different styles and designs and worked with me to achieve the unique look I was going for. When I came to pick up my table, I was shocked. My table is absolutely stunning! Her work is quality and the out come was phenomenal. Worth every penny. I will DEFINITELY be using her again!Jul 29, 2016Verified

Debra recovered an ottoman for me. I had purchased the material but didn't have the right tools to do it right. She was gracious enough to meet me when I dropped it off and when she was complete. She finished the stool in a few days and her work was detailed and immaculate. Thank you Debra for your attention to detail.Sep 25, 2016Verified
Debra was excellent in every department! She responded to my request within minutes of submitting it, and also attended my customer that same day! In a couple of hours, I may add. I'm extremely satisfied with Debra's professionalism as is our client she did the repairs for (Dining Table). Will definitely use again.Nov 23, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There are so many variables when it comes to pricing furniture refinishing. Painting, glaze or no glaze, strip, stain, upholster, trim, nailhead, so many options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have apprenticed under several people who do or have done our kind of work. We are also constantly asking questions from others in the industry regarding techniques, results, and are willing to grow to become the best we can be.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started refinishing furniture after my daughter introduced me to Pinterest. Our work was good, but I was blessed by the desire to want to do things right. So we began training and learning proper applications. If you are going to do something, it's worth doing right. We do all the hard prep to make sure our work is both beautiful AND long lasting. We use oil paints- our preference is Sherwin Williams brand. We polyurethane everything. And it shows in our final product.
