We live in Plano and our spring had broken on our door we called anytime garage doors and got Jeremy our technician that came out on time and got our spring repaired Im no time would highly recommend this garage door service

Disappointed with my garage door purchase. I originally reached out when I saw that they were a Clopay dealer and Home Depot was showing a 6-8 week lead time and they promised they could get it installed more quickly then that. It ended up being about 4 weeks, but at that point they had my half down so I was locked in. The guy that originally installed it had no business installing garage doors. The gaps between the door and the jamb were almost 1" in places. Video attached is from this initial install. The door would kind of launch upwards the springs were so tight. Again this is how they left it. I was able to get my sales guy to come back out and 'fix' it in the next week or so, but it turns out he also made errors. I didn't know enough to determine this, until the door opener threw a code that the door wouldn't shut. Fast forward to today, they were able to get out same day for a service call. The technician today, Jeremy, seemed competent and was able to quickly identify what was wrong with the installation. It wasn't parts, it was how they were installed. The tension wasn't right on the cable (apparently separate from the springs), and the springs were wound unevenly. I don't remember the numbers but I think spec was 28, and one was at 27, and one was at 24 turns. So clearly an installation error, but labor warranty only extends 180 days. So I had to pay $90 for today's service charge to fix the installation errors that they made almost a year ago.On pricing, and in hindsight, I could have saved about $200 just going straight with Home Depot and taking my chance on who the installer might be, and that was after they negotiated down from their original price which was significantly more.EDIT FOR OWNER RESPONSE:Not sure what you are looking for. My post is my real name. The tech that came out today's name is in the review so you can discuss what he found, but my impression is it was already in the notes. I explicitly told him that my frustration was not with him and if incorrect installation was not covered under warranty, I did not have a problem paying cause I needed it resolved, but that 'it would be going in the review'. The tech arrived around 1:15PM. I don't remember my sales guys' name - maybe James? Appointment 4-5-25. Initial installation 5-6-25.I didn't review originally because it was such a mixed bag and I felt like the sales tech eventually resolved it. The video was still on my phone.
