FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My monthly charges include not only lesson times, but also access to online learning websites, performance costs and general business expenses that I have to cover. Any books and materials that a student uses are in addition to the the lesson fees.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend national and state music teacher conferences on an annual basis to keep myself abreast of what is going on in the music teaching field. I also have several great teaching colleagues throughout the nation that I constantly learn from with their great ideas.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having worked in the corporate business world for 13 years, music was always a huge part of my life outside of my job. I have always had a passion for music. I realized one day that my corporate job wasn't satisfying myself, but only corporate executives. I wanted to do something to make a difference. Teaching in general and not just teaching music does just that. Having performed for many years, I have accumulated alot of great and useful information to share with others. It feels so good to be able to give it back and watch others have fun learning. I couldn't be happier right now.
