Jay was really great to work with leading up to my wedding. He was very responsive and even was willing to add on extra hours for me as the date got closer. On the day of he was very professional and punctual. He did a great job capturing the special moments of the day. Working with Jay was a lot of fun. Sometimes it can be difficult to get members and customers to give a good testimonial but Jay did a great job making them all feel comfortable and eliciting the best responses from everyone. His editing work is superb and we've had several comments on how our video looks like a TV commercial because the quality is so good. Even our staff, who showed up in the final video, were happy with how they looked, despite the impromptu decision to put some staff footage in. We look forward to working with Jay on another project in the very near future.

Finding a videographer to trust with our daughters wedding was a huge decision. We commissioned Jay Nuzum with Illusion Media Works for her wedding in October of 2015. We based our decision primarily on his style and quality of work, but cost also was a consideration in our decision. Jay was very professional and completed the Highlight Reel and the finished CDs exactly when he had stated he would get each of them completed. We were nothing but pleased with what Jay was able to capture from her special day. I don't know if the Highlight Reel is included in any of his packages but if not, be sure to purchase it - he did an awesome job and it brought happy tears to our eyes watching it the first time! I highly recommend Illusion Media Works for your wedding.

I am a video producer based in San Diego, and I hired Jay to film my client - a keynote speaker in Dallas - and I would not be there to direct so he would be on his own filming for the day. Jay handled filming exactly as I asked him to - he even included a 2nd camera with his jib arm at no additional cost. He filmed all the footage I needed exactly as I requested, plus he filmed lots of b-roll shots and several testimonials. With Jay's excellent footage I can now edit a great 5 minute highlight video for my client. In addition, I appreciated Jay's great communication skills with me - and my client, in my absence. I expect to hire Jay again, as I have another client in Dallas that I will need him to film interviews for me.

Most of my pricing is based on how many hours needed or time spent on project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First a phone call going over needs and expectations and then meeting for pre-production if the shoot requires it. Then keeping close contact through post production and delivery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in film and communications and some graduate work in filmic writing.
