I found myself a month out from my wedding not feeling comfortable in my strapless dress - I wanted to add a sheer cape to get some coverage that was trendy and not matronly. After reaching out to several places, going to my usual tailor and a fancy wedding dress studio, I could not find anyone that understood what I was looking for or that wasn’t going to charge me an arm and a leg. I put a request on Thumbtack and Maci replied quickly. I met her at her home and explained what I wanted - just a few weeks and it turned out nicely! I am very happy and will be wearing the result soon!

This was my first time using thumbtack, and it was for my wedding dress. She was amazing!! I am very short so my wedding dress had to be altered a lot, which can be expensive everywhere else. I also need in-between the chest to be filled in for modesty. The bodice is lace with a design so I wasn’t sure how that would be possible. She did amazing work that made the lace and design she added, look like it was there the whole time. She was able to do it in 2 weeks!! Very very reasonable price! Her work was amazing! I am so grateful for her!

Maci did an outstanding job with my wedding dress! She was very professional but also offered great conversation and made me feel extremely comfortable in her home. As a bonus, her turnaround time was remarkable! I brought my dress in on Monday, 12/24 (Christmas Eve) as a rush and she had it ready for me to pick up on Thursday, 12/27 by 12:00 pm. When I dropped off my dress, we discussed what was needed and she was very open and honest with me about her recommendations, and what she would be able to accomplish with the alterations. She also found a solution that gave me what I needed while staying within my budget. Upon arrival to pick up my dress, I tried it on and we realized that a few minor adjustments had to be made – she did them on the spot and had me out in no time with a beautiful dress that fit perfectly! Maci was definitely the right person for this job. I found her on Thumbtack amid a hectic moment in my life with Christmas Eve, Christmas, a family death, a wedding rehearsal, and a wedding all occurring in the same week. Maci was a breath of fresh air and I will undoubtedly be using her again in the future. She is AMAZING!
