Yes, I am constantly reading and reviewing the latest trends and technical specs of new chip-sets and technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing this as hobby of a sort since I was tall enough to reach the cable box. I could fix small things cable related so my mom wouldn't have to call the cable company and wait on them. I got more into electronics and PC repair later as I got older. I took almost everything apart and reassembled it. Towards the end of high school despite not having a PC I really got into working on those and have been professionally or free time doing that ever since.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have helped a former employer with some of their home audio visual setup and maintenance. They are more the happy as long as it works type like many others and, I like working on theirs as its a more engrossing setup than I have so the problem is simple sometimes and difficult others.
