- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start through Thumbtack, but then move over to email. I like to work up some sketches after I hear some more detail from the client about the project. I send the sketches and then see which of the variations they prefer. I model that one, through Illustrator typically, with variations on color and other minor design elements. I send those to the client and they choose their final favorite version.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned under a local artist who has had over 40 years of professional experience in TV, Advertising, and Fine Art. I studied at California Baptist University and Texas Lutheran University, which both added to my knowledge and skill in Graphic Design and Fine Art.
