- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and keep my pricing very competitive with other pros that do the same kind of work. Sometimes pricing does change when we get to a customer's home because it is not exactly how they described it. That's why I try and get as much information beforehand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making sure that the work they want done is something that they need. Explain to them the best option and always staying honest with them. If you're not honest with them,they will never remember your name.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in the hardware retail business for many years and learned a lot of Installation from other pros. I also took some electrical classes and learned plumbing from a master plumber. One of the places I worked for would always send me to get certified on different products. Knowing how they worked and how to install them.
