About this pro
Rutger was hired for several jobs. The first job was installing carpet to stairs and master bedroom. It went fine. The second job was to replace wood trim in family room. It needs a second repair which still has yet to be completed. The third job was to re-tile a shower, which also went fine. The fourth was to repair and replace a balcony with severe wood rot. The top of the balcony looks really good though the "water proof" layer under the 2x4's ended up being plywood (really?). The underneath portion of the balcony was never replaced and is now suffering worsening wood rot due to drainage through the top of it (hint: plywood is not waterproof). Ultimately, it could have been done better and more thorough. They did reach out once to see about coming to do the second repair of the living room trip, but once I explained our availability I have yet to hear back from them. Would I hire them again? Probably not. We would have hired them to do a complete kitchen remodel, but....... Who can hire someone who leaves a job unfinished (by their own admission) and fails to respond to your availability?May 15, 2015Verified
We had a total kitchen remodel with a wall removed. Rutger did a good job on the big parts of the remodel. I'd have liked to give them a higher rating but poor finish out and a decline in the tone of their communication after our check cleared left us frustrated.Dec 27, 2014Verified
I would recommend rutger contracting for any small or big jobs. They did an excellent work. ThanksOct 3, 2014Verified
Rutger Contracting replaced the hail damaged roof on my rental property. I chose them because they were professional, quick to respond, and they gave me a reasonable quote based on my insurance claim. Throughout the job, communication was seamless. They answered my questions, completed work promptly, and coordinated with my tenants. There were no surprises! They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and for the price they said it would cost. I was very pleased with my experience!Sep 17, 2014Verified
I would choose this company again in a heartbeat. I initially picked this company based on the price, reviews, and quick response to my questions. They have now finished the project and the work was fantastic. I will be using them again for future projects. I highly recommend this company.Aug 30, 2014Verified

We have worked very hard to get the bottom line prices on materials for every trade, as well as amazing laborers that you can't get at a better price.

We also love staing up to date on every trade and all of the options for all the materials and finishes imaginable. We do everything from our own research, to meetings with traade experts outside of our company, trade shows, as well as certifications on all sorts of different areas throughout the different trades on a job.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?We started out being interested in our line of work as it encorporates a number of our various combined talents and strong suits and allows us to help people.
